We are currently seeking a transport planning professional to help in the development of business cases for key transport initiatives and their submissions.
You will be responsible for the identification, prioritisation scoping, funding submission and evaluation of a range of small-medium transport related projects that could be either new capital works projects, significant improvement works or proactive maintenance works.
The candidate will have experience of transport planning, coming from either a civil engineering or land-use planning background. They will have experience in the early phase development of transport related projects and their business cases. Possessing exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders from within the organisation, external consultants and other interested stakeholders and government agencies.
This role is likely to run on a contract basis for around 12 months, although a more permanent position may be possible subject to budgetary approval.
