Probably contract, possibly permanent; this role is responsible for project managing civil capital works projects (primarily roads) through both design and construction phases for small-medium capital works projects.
The successful candidate will be a civil engineer and have gained some experience from either a contractor of consulting background where they have focused on roads and associated infrastructure. They will have the capacity to manage teams of consultants, contractors and internal resources to deliver exceptional results on brief, time and budget.
This role is located regionally, and whilst there is some opportunity for remote working as you’ll need to attend site meetings during the construction phases of project is likely to mean that candidates will need to relocate to the region. The client is open to candidates doing this on a short-term arrangement whilst they seek longer-term employment in Melbourne (as long as they will commit to a minimum of 3 months), or a longer term permanent role.
