A Land Development Engineer is required to work remotely for a council assessing applications for new developments and upgrades to existing infrastructure. You will ensure that relevant standards are met. You will use your understanding of a broad range of land subdivision design elements, including roads & utilities, water system and sewer design. You will work autonomously in a remote setting, assisting Infrastructure team where necessary.
To be successful you will hold a tertiary qualification in engineering and have prior experience with Australian local government standards working in either a design or project management capacity for a consultancy, or having worked in a similar role for another local authority. You will have excellent communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders and you will need to submit regular written reports with practical recommendations, so you will need a high level of computer literacy and computer application experience to really thrive in this role.
