A Senior Development Engineer is required for a temporary opportunity within a local government organisation to check engineering plans, environmental management plans and assess traffic, drainage and subdivision referrals for planning and development applications. You will facilitate the provision of a priority service of efficient and timely planning services and post approval planning process. You will achiveve collaborative outcomes through your stakeholder management approach.
To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role, prior local government experience is highly desirable. You will have a degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or relevant equivalent qualification. You will have relevant experience assessing development engineering proposals and providing written technical advice. You will be an excellent communicator, able to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will hold a current Victorian Drivers License.
