This role is the metaphorical equivalent of unravelling a ball of string…
Starting with a complex planning problem you will be required to utilise your attention to detail to carefully home in on individual component of the problem, and understand that by resolving that particular knot (issue) you will be one step closer to an untangled problem. Assisting you with this task is a highly regarded director who will be able to tell via his experience which knots to focus on for maximum impact on unravelling the problem.
You will need to be sharp with a good understanding of both statutory and strategic planning (gained from at least a couple of years in either public or private practice) to spot key components and be able to focus on the detail within these components. You will have a succinct writing style that will create narratives around your conclusions and you’ll be eager to learn in an area where there are few experts and by working under the tutelage of an experienced team you have the opportunity to forge a great profile within the planning sector. Taking the analogy one step (too far), we could also say that this is a close nit team, so culture fit and an ability to fit into a friendly, hardworking team where everyone helps each other out.
Offering a salary of $80-95K and a great career opportunity this is a role to tie yourself in knots for! For more information please call Russell Locke at Planned Resources on 0407 111 364 or email Russell.firstname.lastname@example.org
