Senior Planner (statutory) required for an initial 6 months to provide succinct high-level advice to complex and often controversial planning applications that have state significance.
Your role will be to provide timely and accurate advice to the Minister for Planning, managers and executive, local government, and other stakeholders. In order to do this, you will be a senior planner who has developed a strong understanding of planning within Victoria and are able to prepare planning assessment reports, briefs and correspondence on planning permit issues that demonstrate a detailed understanding of the policy, statutory and political context. Your experience will also allow you to not only make decisions based on technical merit but also to have developed your inter-personal skill in order to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
