
Planned Resources are currently seeking a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager to help manage the delivery of social housing projects. Roles are for initially 3-6 months, although with this being a new department longer term appointments are a possibility.
Working within a team the roles will be to evaluate programs for the delivery of large scale social and affordable housing construction projects, focused initially on the property development and feasibility aspects of the project as well as subsequently ensuring that deliverables are met by reviewing their contractual obligations, budget and committed milestones (including preparing briefings to senior stakeholders as required), and finally leading the negotiation and design of key contractual terms for the property and tenancy management of state owned social housing projects.
Successful candidates will be allocated roles based on their previous experience in either the project evaluation, monitoring or tenancy negotiation stages of the project. In addition to previous experience in property/property development it is envisaged that candidates should be able to demonstrate the capacity to work with a multi-faceted client group that will include internal and external partner including community housing partners, commercial, local government, and state agencies it is imperative that the successful candidates can provide clear, unambiguous advice and direction to a range of different stakeholders and be able to lead diverse teams to consensus of a variety of issues.
In addition to previous experience of end-end project delivery from a client perspective, candidates should ideally have previous experience of working within either the government or NSP sector to have a good understanding of government procurement frameworks.
Offering hourly rates of $60-90 per hour, roles will initially be offered on a 3-6 month contract basis, although longer term opportunities within a growing department are potentially on offer.
