Great opportunity for a Civil Project / QA engineer to work on multiple projects concurrently.

We require a civil engineer to act as a Civil Superintendent for an initial 6-month contract.  Your role will be to oversee the day-day delivery of projects, ensuring that they are meeting contract specifications around quality of materials and workmanship.

This role requires you to manage multiple projects concurrently as opposed to running a section of a large project, as such preference will be for candidates from 2^nd/3^rd tier contractor or civil maintenance groups.  You should have logical and decisive decision-making skills that will allow you to resolve issues that arise in the construction phases of projects and assess progress claims including and any variations to contract or extension of time requests from the contractor.  You will have excellent communication skills that will allow you to develop a mutually beneficial partnership with contractors that ensures a successful project delivery.
