Finally a role with a short commute, where you’ll like your colleagues (Bob the dog and Petey the Parrot), and your manager won’t be able to micro-manage you by staring over your screen every 5 minutes. Work attire can range from PJ’s to gym gear as long as you can dress up the top half to fool your team when on Zoom meetings. There’s flexibility involved so that you can catch up on the latest WAFS episodes, as long as you can make up the hours elsewhere.
On a more serious note, if you’ve gone through lockdown, and aren’t looking forward to you the return to the office this could be a great opportunity for you. This role will run for an initial 6 months, although there is the potential for it to proceed beyond this. There is great flexibility in this role, especially as its predominantly focused on report writing, although you will be need to be available for the odd call/zoom meeting during the week in normal time. Its expected that you will have at least a couple of years’ experience with the Victorian planning system so that you can work autonomously; application types will range but wont be overly complex so candidates from a mid-senior band 5 to a band 6 would suit.
