Deliver timely compliance and enforcement outcomes related to waste crime in this people leadership role
Leading a multidisciplinary team associated with waste crime you will deliver state-wide compliance and enforcement activities under responsive, strategic and targeted work programs. Using your proven leadership skills you will develop a positive team culture around innovation, collaboration and accountability. You will lead internal and external stakeholder engagement and co-design and deliver innovative and strategic compliance and enforcement activities aimed at detecting, responding to and preventing reoccurrence of waste crime.
To be successful you will have demonstrated experience in a regulatory best practise role with project management experience and the ability to apply the law in complex situations. You will have relevant tertiary qualifications complimentary to the role. You will have demonstrated ability to lead a team and work collaboratively as well as excellent problem solving, systems thinking and risk management skills. You will have proven ability to think creatively and strategically to developing future-focused service delivery. You will also have a broad understanding of environmental protection regulation related to pollution and waste. You will hold a current Victorian Drivers License.
