Join a dynamic council communications team working for a vibrant council in the Northern suburbs. This temporary role at a Band 6 equivalent has a strong possibility of extension and is an excellent opportunity to further your public sector experience. This generalist role will involve managing marketing campaigns, publish content on social media channels, manage graphic design content and other marketing materials. You will also create EDMs and website content.
To be successful you will have demonstrated experience in a similar communications role with a relevant qualification. Prior experience within a council setting, while not essential is highly desirable, or public sector experience in state or federal government. You will ideally have a sound understanding of council processes and procedures and exposure to various CMS systems. You will have exceptional written and verbal skills and be able to manage competing priorities from multiple stakeholders. You will hold a current Victorian Drivers license and be able to complete a National Police Check.
