Busy inner-city progressive council with one of the most diverse communities are seeking a Team Leader for the Property sector. The Team Leader will manage the Property services team and activities within the property portfolio. This role will contribute to the effective implementation of the Property Strategy, Council Plan and Corporate Plan priorities relating to Council’s property portfolio. Contribute to the effective management of Council owned and / or managed properties, assist in the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in line with position objectives and provide considered advice to the team, management, Council and internal departments regarding a range of property related matters.
You must possess:
- Well-developed knowledge and experience in property management as well as practical experience in property transactions,
- Ability to read and understand property related documentation such as leases, licenses transfer of land and certificates of title,
- Knowledge and understanding of legislation and statutory processes,
- Experience in the use of core property, asset management, records and GIS databases and systems.
