Senior Strategic Planner

Planned Resources are partnering with Moira Shire Council to
recruit their next Strategic Planner!

Moira Shire is just a two-and-a-half-hour drive from
Melbourne boasting a warm climate and a stunning natural environment. They are
home to a number of attractions including wineries, historic homesteads,
galleries, beaches, forests, lakes, rivers and wetlands.

The Planning team is currently looking for a Band 8 Senior
Strategic Planner on a permanent basis, to project manage and deliver key
strategic planning projects!

This role has a bit more focus on project management because
you will be responsible for overseeing consultants rather than being very
hands-on with the larger scale projects whereas for the smaller projects, you
will be responsible for running those yourself. You will be involved in the
implementation of that work into the planning scheme and through the amendment
process.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years’ experience ideally
with strategic planning knowledge. An understanding of the planning scheme
amendment process and strong project management skills will be highly desirable.
You will also demonstrate strong communication skills – both with internal
(Council and leadership teams) and external (community members & groups and
other government authorities) stakeholders.

This is a Band 8 role with a salary bracket of $104K – $116K
+ super. Moira Shire is offering a hybrid working arrangement.
