In this video Leo Liemesak chats to recent PIA award winner, Amy Wilkins. Amy is an Urban Planner who recently won the Planning Institute of Australia’s (PIA) Tertiary Student Project Award, for ‘Gendered Re-Framing of the Public Domain at Night’.


Amy’s research takes a deep dive into the environmental conditions of the public domain and recommends how urban design and planning can better implement crime prevention initiatives to improve women’s safety.
