Highly regarded award winning multidisciplinary practice seek a senior Landscape Architect to join their friendly team. The opposite of many practices this company have a diverse project list, with only a smattering of their work in residential greenfield work and are looking for someone competent in residential development who can hep to run the project whilst in return being given the opportunity to broaden their skills by working on a range of non-residential work.
With an ongoing large greenfield project which will provide long term ongoing work for the practice over the next couple of years as more stages are released and delivery of design, documentation and contract administration packages are required on a consistent basis. They envisage that the project will take up around 50% of a candidate’s time, with the other 50% allowing candidates to play in other aspects of Landscape Architecture.
The role would suit a Landscape Architect who is currently working for a practice whose primary focus is in land development. This role would allow them to continue to work in a sector of the industry that they are familiar with, and can impart knowledge to the broader team, but will also allow them to diversify their skills into other aspects of Landscape Architecture.
Candidates should be able to run all aspects of projects including client/contractor management, design, documentation and contract administration. They should be (ideally) AILA registered or close to registration and possess strong technical skills combined with great interpersonal skills.
