Types Of Recruitment Services

We understand that in order to be effective to you as an individual client we need to tailor our approach of how we recruit to best fit your individual business; as such the services below are indicative of what we do, but the approach within them modified to what best suits you.

Our experience spans over 15 years and ranges from search assignments, hundreds of successful contingent requirements and advertised campaigns from local press to international campaigns for multiple vacancies.

Executive and Management Search

A highly targeted approach best used for very senior/executive , or very specialised skills where there is a small pool of highly qualified applicants.   Planned Resources will work with you to comprehensively understand your requirements and cultural fit before providing you with an in-depth analysis of  the market, complete with a list of potential “target” candidates.  In consultation with you to ascertain suitability, we will then approach the chosen parties to proactively represent your organisation and career opportunity to ensure success.

While the process may take longer and typically produces a lower number of applicants due to it’s tailored approach it is the most effective method of recruiting senior personnel.

Please note that we will only undertake a search assignment if we feel that we can add value to the process, and will not approach employees from other companies that we have any existing alliances with. (we’re happy to discuss who these are at the initial meeting).

Advertised Selection

Best used when you are confident of finding “A person” to fill the role but you want to assure yourself that you have found “THE best person” for the role – or where larger numbers of candidates are expected.  The process also has defined closing dates and end dates making it easier to run as a “campaign”

Utilised in conjunction with a database search, we meet with you to get a clear understanding of the role and identify potential media to use such as jobs sites, industry web and media up to local and national press.  All candidates are screened (including internal applicants if required) and clients presented with a scored “long” and “short” list.

Advertising is the best approach to take when – attracting passive job seekers, recruiting for remote areas, seeking larger numbers/project teams or simply as an employment branding exercise.

Database / Contingency

Best used when recruiting for junior – mid level candidates.  Planned Resources will use their database and extensive networks to identify, contact and shortlist potential candidates.

Contingency recruitment can be used in conjunction with your own processes as fees are only charged upon successful placement of a candidate so are typically a quick and cost effective way of recruiting.

Contracting

We can quickly provide both short, medium and long term contract solutions to help resourcing for holiday/sick cover, project resourcing (for where either the volume of work is greater than the in-house capacity or the core skills are left of centre to what you do), or as an interim measure while recruiting permanently.

Remuneration Benchmarking

We conduct regular salary surveys across the Planning Profession which helps us provide accurate advice to employers when asked about salaries within the profession.  We are happy to provide this service FREE OF CHARGE to employers who have participated in the surveys, as well as providing ad-hoc advice to employers who are looking for advice. Employers who haven’t participated in the survey are welcome to receive a copy and can request one by contacting us directly.
