If you’re interested to work on large and complex projects while getting exposed to the development space, then this role is for you.

Planned Resources are working with a private consultancy who’s looking for a Senior Town Planner to join their team. They are a Town Planning and Project Management consultancy located about 15 mins from Brisbane CBD. The Senior or Principal Planner will mainly be responsible for delivering DA approvals for clients – they work on residential, commercial, industrial and health sectors. The projects they do tend to be larger scale and more complex – ideal for those seeking to finesse their technical skills as a Planner.

The ideal candidate will have about 5-7+ years’ experience as a Planner in QLD. We are keen to speak with candidates who are able to move projects forward from inception meeting and establishing approvals pathways, and someone who can work autonomously. You will have excellent communication skills and report writing skills.

You will be joining a team of about 8 other Planners plus the PM team. Aside from Planning work, you will get exposure to the front-end development aspect such as feasibility and acquisition phase. If you’re interested to work on large and complex projects while getting exposed to the development space, then this role is for you. The culture is very positive and collegiate – and they love to develop their staff!

Salary is between $95k – $135k + super depending on the candidate.
