Planned Resources is currently partnering with a Surveying and Town Planning consultancy seeking a Town Planner to join their growing team.
This organisation delivers a diverse portfolio of development applications, including residential projects, MCUs, student accommodation, land subdivisions, and specialised developments such as battery recycling facilities. With a strong and continuously expanding pipeline of work from 2024 onwards, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business in growth mode.
The Role
As a Town Planner, you will play a key role in managing the development application process from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, managing, and lodging development and planning permit applications
- Writing high-quality planning reports
- Responding to Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Liaising with and maintaining strong relationships with local councils
- Supporting a range of projects across multiple development sectors

You’ll be joining a close-knit team of four planners within a supportive and flexible working environment. With access to experienced senior planners, you’ll receive ongoing mentorship and guidance to further develop your technical expertise. The varied project exposure will ensure your skills continue to grow.
About You
- Minimum 1 year of experience working within the Queensland planning system (experience in SEQ highly regarded)
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines
- Valid Australian working rights (international applicants cannot be considered)

- From $75k + super up to $110k + super depending on experience
