Are you a skilled Building Surveyor with a passion for ensuring quality and compliance in construction projects? Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Building Surveyor to join their team on a long-term permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed inspections of buildings, including both residential and commercial properties.
- Preparing and reviewing reports on the condition of buildings, identifying potential risks or issues.
- Advising clients on building regulations, planning applications, and construction standards.
- Overseeing maintenance and refurbishment projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Providing technical advice on building design, construction, and sustainability.
- Managing relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Offering support for planning, property development, and asset management.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related field (MRICS accreditation preferred).
- Proven experience in building surveying, including experience with building regulations and construction management.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, building materials, and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and contractors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
