A well-established private planning consultancy is seeking a Planner / DA Planner to join their team in a unique dual-location role spanning the Gold Coast and Byron Bay offices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to combine professional growth with a coastal lifestyle, working across two dynamic regions.

Key Project Areas
You’ll gain exposure to a diverse range of developments, including:
- Residential: boutique developments, hotels, student accommodation
- Commercial: shopping centres, childcare centres
- Industrial: warehouses and industrial developments
- Community: disability housing
- Subdivisions and greenfield developments
About the Role
- Work across a broad client base rather than being sector-focused
- Collaborate across both QLD and NSW planning systems
- Flexible/hybrid working arrangements available
- Option for part-time (3–4 days per week)
About You
- 1–3 years’ experience as a Town Planner
- Familiarity with the QLD and/or NSW planning framework
- Experience in consultancy or local government
- Strong communication and organisational skills
The role is ideal for those with 1-3 years’ experience as a Town Planner within the QLD/ NSW Planning system. We are open to candidates from either consulting or government background, and we are also open to consider candidates looking for part time arrangements (3-4 days/week).
Salaries range from $65k – $80k + super but negotiable depending on the candidate. Hybrid/flexible working arrangements can also be negotiated with the right candidate.
