Be the Changemaker: Design & Place Projects Officer

Do you have a passion for creating vibrant and functional public spaces?

We are seeking a driven and creative individual to join our client as a Design & Place Projects Officer. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of activity centres, making them more attractive, accessible, and community-focused.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and develop projects that enhance activity centres, focusing on economic, social, and environmental benefits.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to plan, design, and implement these projects, ensuring they meet community needs.
  • Oversee project implementation, including working with contractors and adhering to budgets and timelines.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative initiatives that improve the overall experience of activity centres.
  • Prepare reports and grant applications related to urban design and landscape projects.

Who you are:

  • A passionate individual with a degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as urban design, project management, or asset management.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and managing projects, from concept to completion.
  • A strong understanding of public space planning and design principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
