We are seeking a dynamic Development Manager with passion and a strong work ethic to manage property subdivision projects from conception to completion. You will follow the project through initial liaison with planning to obtaining relevant permits, building contracts and tender documents, assisting clients with funding and coordinating with the builders through the construction. To succeed in this role, you must have an understanding of the process from beginning to end, with a high level of coordination and organisation skills to ensure the process runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage property subdivision projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to ensure solutions will work and projects run smoothly.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including government agencies, community groups, and investors.
- Ensure compliance with local zoning laws, regulations, and environmental standards.
- Prepare and present reports on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- Obtain all relevant permits, contracts and documents.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the Victorian property market and subdivision regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Estate Master is a must.
This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis, with salary in the area of $80,000-$100,000.
