We are currently seeking an Urban Planner who is seeking to transition their career to focusing on large scale environmental approvals.
Your role will be focused on early stage/feasibility studies for projects which potentially require environmental approvals, environmental impact statements and environmental management plans.
Surrounded by experts, previous experience working as an environmental planner isn’t required and as such an urban planner (from either government or consultancy) who has ambitions to work in environmental planning on large scale/complex infrastructure projects would be highly regarded. You will ideally have some experience and understanding of the Victorian Planning system, and an appreciation of Commonwealth legislation relating to things such as the EPBC act.
This is a great opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry and really hone your skills within the environmental planning area. Salary will vary depending upon experience but is likely to be circa $100K – $120K
