Planned Resources are working with a regional council to recruit a permanent Coordinator to manage the regulatory services team within the organisation.

You will be responsible for the Planning, Building, and Environmental Health teams in Council. Your responsibilities will include people and operational management, change management and business/process improvement initiatives.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those who is keen to be involved in changing a regulatory-focused to a facilitatory-focused organisation – through educating the team, streamlining processes and working with the community. An understanding of the black/white regulatory rules whilst appreciating the grey areas of planning would be desirable – in order to be able to negotiate outcome in these areas that respect the community and environment.
The role would suit a Coordinator/Team Leader or an ambitious Band 7 with regulatory statutory background – with experience about how to change process and culture.
Salary between $107K – $120K + super + holiday loading. Flexible working arrangements are negotiable.
