Acting as trusted support to the MBS and Deputies, this exceptionally busy council is seeking a subject matter expert whose role will be to act as an expert to your designated team (around 6 people) in all matters Building Surveying. You will be providing advice on both legislation, technical requirements and procedures around proactive audits, occupancy permits, POPE’s, Report and Consents and enforcement.

Sign-off/delegation is via the MBS and deputies, along with formal people management. You will have exposure/understanding of all building classes as evidenced by your BS-U registration (candidates who are eligible for registration but not yet BS-U will also be considered). By nature, you will be a easily approachable person (a large part of your role is imparting your knowledge to junior surveyors/inspectors), and be a walking google translator of the BCA.
