The Practice:
Our client is a highly respected practice with offices around Australia. They are an award winning, multi-disciplinary group, with teams across Planning, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design.

The Opportunity:
Opportunity currently exists in their team for an experienced Landscape Architect or Landscape Planner, with significant experience in the preparation of Landscape Visual Impact Assessments.

As a member of a small specialist team, you play a key role in preparing and delivering LVIA and Environmental Effects Statements on high profile, community shaping projects across Australia. You will be supported in the production of this material by a highly capable team of junior Landscape Architects and Visualisers

The Role:
The role will have responsibility for:
• Preparing high quality LVIA and EES to support the planning process for projects;
• Leveraging technology and innovation to improve the service offering of the LVIA team;
• Leading and developing client relationships, including leading briefing processes;
• Coordination with external consultants and internal stakeholders to drive high quality outcomes;
• Providing concept design / master planning input on projects; and
• Mentoring and developing younger team members.

To be Successful:

The successful applicant will possess:
• Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, planning or related fields;
• Demonstrated experience in a providing LVIA services, ideally within a consulting environment;
• Excellent communication skills, particularly written, as evidenced by your report writing skills;
• Prior experience providing Expert Witness evidence at VCAT would be highly regarded; and
• A collaborative approach to working and a desire to share knowledge.
