Manager, Planning and Urban Design
- Permanent Full-Time Role (35 hours per week)
- Location: Parramatta CBD and Centennial Park
- Salary commensurate with experience, starting from $125,693 + super

Planned Resources is proud to partner with Greater Sydney Parklands in recruiting the Manager, Planning and Urban Design to help shape Sydney’s iconic urban parklands.
In this unique role, you will lead the charge in creating strategic plans and delivering innovative urban design solutions for Greater Sydney Parklands. From preparing impactful Plans of Management, to advising on complex planning matters, this role offers the chance to influence and make a positive impact on Sydney’s most cherished green spaces.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead across strategic planning and statutory planning matters
- Develop and renew Plans of Management for GSP parks
- Provide evidence-based advice by interpreting planning legislation, environmental planning instruments and policy
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning or related discipline
- Strong background and experience in strategic planning and/or open space planning, particularly in a public sector environment
- Background or experience in urban design and graphic skills (Adobe Creative Suite) is highly regarded
- Current Australian driver’s license and ability to attend work at site within GSP portfolio
