Break O’Day Council, located on Tasmania’s stunning north-east coast, (think Bay of Fires) are looking for an EHO. They are open to candidates looking for both part-time (minimum 2 days a week) to full time arrangements.
About You
You’re a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a role that blends technical expertise with community engagement.
You will bring:
- A recognised tertiary qualification in public or environmental health
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across Council and the community
- Confidence navigating complex regulatory frameworks with diplomacy and sound judgement
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively
