We’re looking for a Planning Officer with a passion for transport planning. You’ll be working for a leading urban consultancy providing services to its long-term client, a leading public transport authority in New South Wales.

In this role, you’ll assess and coordinate response to development application referrals that impact the transport network—helping ensure growth aligns with good planning outcomes. You’ll work closely with councils, developers, internal stakeholders, providing clear, well-informed planning advice.

You’ve got 1–2 years of experience in the NSW planning system and a relevant qualification in town, urban, or regional planning. You know your way around the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, and you’re confident interpreting planning proposals and transport impacts.

This is a long-term contract role offering flexibility, including a hybrid work arrangement,  multiple office locations and supportive team culture. You’ll gain exposure to major projects and contribute to a city-shaping portfolio.
