Urban Sync is a Far North Queensland Town Planning & Land Development firm servicing Cairns, Tablelands, Cape York and surrounding regional and rural areas. Our business is committed to delivering ‘high’ quality statutory planning and development advice to the private sector and government organisations dealing with project feasibility, design and coordination, approvals management, infrastructure negotiations and post approval activities.
About the role
Urban Sync are experiencing constantly increase workloads and projects and they are looking for an ambitious and motivated person with a minimum of 4 years of town planning and property development experience to join the team. Dependent on your experience, you’ll be offered to work as either a Principal or Senior Development Planner and report directly to the company Director.
In this boutique environment, you will have opportunity to work on and be involved in a wide range of development projects across statutory and strategic planning matters, such as airport developments, industrial, commercial/retail/hospitality, agricultural developments to service stations and residential projects. Urban Sync are proud to call some of the most renowned private developers in the region their clients, besides several local and regional councils in Far North Queensland.
If you…
- Have strong working knowledge of Queensland planning frameworks and legislation
- are capable of working independently, with minimal supervision or
- are experienced in leading smaller projects and working/coordinating within a team environment in larger projects
- have (or are aspired to develop) strong stakeholder management and project management skills
- are willing to mentor, coach and manage junior staff
- are interested and committed to the development and growth of Cairns and its surrounding regions
