Ready to step out of the ordinary and build something of your own?
This is a rare chance to shape a consultancy’s Queensland presence, starting with the Sunshine Coast. We’re looking for a driven Senior or Principal Town Planner who’s hungry for responsibility, ambitious about growth, and ready for a role with genuine leadership and equity potential.

This isn’t just a typical planning job. The firm is flat-structured, supportive and ethical, led by respected Directors who want someone to be the face of their Sunshine Coast office. You’ll take on exciting projects spanning mum-and-dad subdivisions through to national clients, while building networks and stepping up towards a Queensland Operations Lead role.

Culture is everything here: no hierarchy games, no politics, just collaboration, mentoring and strong professional backing. You’ll have the freedom to run with ideas, the tools you need to succeed, and the pathway to profit share and eventual ownership if you want it.

This role is ideal for a seasoned Senior Planner or Principal Planner looking to take on more leadership and autonomy and is ready to grow into a State Operations Lead, managing people, projects and business growth. Whether your background is in local government or planning and land development consultancy, this is the career step that combines project delivery with genuine business management and equity opportunities.

If you’ve got 6+ years of planning experience, a spark of entrepreneurial drive, and the ambition to lead, this is your chance to shape your career!
