Our client is a respected T2 Civil Contractor specializing in large estate & Infrastructure projects across NE QLD who have grown their portfolio significantly in the past 12 months. They are well known for delivering quality work to their clients in the QLD market.

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer who is looking for their next step in joining this growing contractor and contributing to their portfolio of projects mainly north of Brisbane.

About the Role

• Manage all aspects of project execution from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure smooth project progress and compliance with specifications.
• Oversee site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and safety protocols, to ensure efficient and safe project delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments to uphold project standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare accurate project documentation, reports, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in land development and transport infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and resolve conflicts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of project execution.
