The Opportunity:

We currently have an opportunity for an Associate Director to join our Brisbane Planning team.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of Queensland’s most well-recognised names in planning on some of the most significant and exciting development projects occurring in South-East Queensland

The role is supported by highly experienced Directors and a market leading national Urban Planning team. Urbis provides an exciting multi-disciplinary environment to refine your skills and grow your career.

You will:

  • Apply your in-depth understanding of Strategic urban planning and offer expert advice and services to cater to our clients’ needs.
  • Manage medium to large size strategic planning projects including the scoping and costing of projects, and formulating tenders.
  • Support Directors to achieve ‘whole-of-office’ business plan outcomes, in conjunction with other Business Units.
  • Lead strategic projects for tier 1 private and government clients, helping to shape the future form and function of Queensland.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to engage and work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines and Business Units across Brisbane and the broader firm.

About You:

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
  • Proven track record of identifying and winning new business.
