As the Strategic Planner within this local council which is situated in a beautiful part of South Australia which boasts beautiful and unique coastlines and a laid-back lifestyle; you will play a vital role in the development and execution of essential major projects that will have a lasting impact on their community. Your primary responsibilities will include the development of the Stormwater Management Plan, Park Redevelopment Plans, and Township Management Plan Review. By working with various stakeholders, you will help shape the future of the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Stormwater Management Plan
  • Collaborate with the community, engineers, and environmental experts to create innovative Park Redevelopment Plans that enhance recreational spaces and promote environmental sustainability.
  • Review and update the Township Management Plan to ensure it aligns with the changing needs and aspirations of the community.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local residents, government agencies, and community groups.
  • Provide expertise in urban planning and environmental sustainability to support regional growth and development.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate project progress and findings to internal and external audiences.

To be successful in this role you will be Town Planning qualified with previous experience in the industry. You will have strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
