Our client specialises in the certification of commercial refurbishments / fit-outs with experience across some very complex and creative projects.
Seeking a Contract Building Surveyor, no requirement to be Registered, to work closely with the Director to ensure the successful completion of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual looking to add a few more hours of work in their week (max 2 days per week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse project documentation, including plans, specifications, and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, compliance certificates, and documentation for regulatory authorities.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address inquiries and provide expert advice.
- Mandatory and pre-commencement inspections.
- Stay updated on relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying.
- 3+ years relevant industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively on your own.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
Best suited to those either working part-time or contracting who are looking to add an additional 5+ hours of work per week to their schedule. Engagement will be on a contract hourly rate basis with 100% remote work option.
