Our client is a team of dedicated professionals, who ensure that buildings meet regulatory standards, providing peace of mind to owners and occupants alike. We are looking for a talented Building Surveyor (level 2 or close to) who will excel working across a range of projects within the commercial sector.

As a Senior Building Surveyor you will play a crucial role in assessing buildings for compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will identify areas of non-compliance and provide expert advice to clients on remedial actions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive surveys and assessments of buildings to determine compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Identifying and documenting areas of non-compliance and potential risks.
  • Providing detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and remedial actions.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Offering expert guidance and support to clients on compliance issues, including building regulations, fire safety, accessibility, and environmental standards.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.

You must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying.
  • Proven experience in building compliance assessment and surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and thorough reports.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies.
