The Business
Planned Resources is searching for a Senior Structural Engineer in Sydney for a client who is a privately owned Australian company, their strong reputation exists due to their ability to produce impressive designs in the public and private sector. They are an award-winning Engineering Consultancy, who have an impressive project portfolio spanning more than 25 years.
The Role
Due to the continued success of the business over the last few years, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Engineer due to project demands and requiring more mentors within the business for the more junior staff. You will report into the Structural Director, whilst helping to deliver key projects and mentoring juniors in the team.
Senior Structural Engineer Duties.
- Prepare design specifications and documentation.
- Ability to use SPACEGASS, ETABS, RAPT, and INDUCTA Package.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attend client meetings, site visits and inspections.
- Work as a team player to ensure deadlines are met.
- Mentor juniors including engineers and drafters.
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- Chartership status or in the process.
- 6 years + experience required.
- Understanding of Australian BCA codes and standards.
