We are partnering with an established Cairns-based  planning consultancy based in Cairns that service the entire Far North Queensland region. They boast many regional, rural councils as well as top-tier regional developers and land owners as their clients. The firm offers essential strategic, statutory planning and development advice from feasibility and early concept stage to post approval.

Having experienced exponential growth in project pipeline , they are seeking experienced and motivated planners to join their close-knitted office and work directly with the company Director.

In this boutique environment, you will work on and be involved in a wide range of projects across statutory and strategic planning matters, including airport developments, industrial, commercial/retail/hospitality, agricultural/farming projects to service stations and residential projects.

If you…

• Have strong working knowledge of Queensland planning frameworks and legislation
• are capable of working independently, with minimal supervision or
• are experienced in leading smaller or medium sized projects and working/coordinating within a team environment in larger projects
• have (or are aspired to develop) strong stakeholder management and project management skills
• are willing to mentor, coach and manage junior staff
