These positions offer a distinctive opportunity to contribute to community, wellbeing and social strategic planning projects at various stages of their lifecycle including:
- New Settlement Strategy
- Housing Needs Assessment
- Retail Strategy
- Industrial Strategy
- Precinct Structure Plan for all townships
- Community Health and Wellbeing Program
- Development Contributions Plan
Your key responsibilities will involve collaborating with stakeholders to formulate and implement strategic plans that align with regional development guidelines, promoting long-term growth and prosperity. There may be further scope to work on
To succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record as a strategic planner, emphasizing regional development and community engagement. A thorough understanding of regional planning policies, urban development regulations, and industry standards is essential, along with demonstrated skills in navigating complex environments.
Salary ranges for positions:
Band 6 – Strategic Planner | $91,596 to $99,839 pa + superannuation & leave loading
Band 7 – Senior Strategic Planner | $102,856 to $115,229 pa + superannuation & leave loading
