Are you enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the progress and advancement of local communities? We are collaborating with our client to seek two Strategic Planners capable of handling a variety of projects within a newly formed team structure. These positions offer a distinctive opportunity to contribute to community, wellbeing and social strategic planning projects at various stages of their lifecycle including:

  • New Settlement Strategy
  • Housing Needs Assessment
  • Retail Strategy
  • Industrial Strategy
  • Precinct Structure Plan for all townships
  • Community Health and Wellbeing Program
  • Development Contributions Plan

Your key responsibilities will involve collaborating with stakeholders to formulate and implement strategic plans that align with regional development guidelines, promoting long-term growth and prosperity. There may be further scope to work on

To succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record as a strategic planner, emphasizing regional development and community engagement. A thorough understanding of regional planning policies, urban development regulations, and industry standards is essential, along with demonstrated skills in navigating complex environments.

Salary ranges for positions:

Band 6 – Strategic Planner | $91,596 to $99,839 pa + superannuation & leave loading

Band 7 – Senior Strategic Planner | $102,856 to $115,229 pa + superannuation & leave loading
