This local council is the regional hub in northern Tasmania – renowned for award-winning wines, gourmet dining experiences, magnificent natural features and friendly residents. The City is the largest municipality in Tasmania in terms of population and revenue.

 

The Planning team is now recruiting for 2 x Senior Planner roles on a full-time permanent basis.

 

Senior Strategic Planner

You will be working with 2 other Strategic Planners in the team, delivering a variety of strategic planning projects including master planning, housing strategies, and built form frameworks.

 

Senior Statutory Planner 

This role will be responsible for assessing planning permit applications, providing planning advice to stakeholders and writing planning reports. Being a large municipality, you will be working on a variety of developments both in urban and rural areas – residential, commercial and industrial applications.

 

The salary range for these roles is between $94,528 to $107,589 + 15.25% superannuation and 19-day month. 

Ideally, we are seeking candidates who have about 4-5+ years’ experience and demonstrate sound understanding of the planning process.

We are keen to speak with candidates who are genuinely interested to live and work in Tasmania. We are open to candidates from interstate and from New Zealand.
