This company has been in the business for 40 years! Their journey began as a property economics and planning consultancy and in the early 2000s, they launched as a national urban economics, planning and property research brand with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
The Urban Planning team in Melbourne is busy and they are keen to recruit a Senior Planner to help manage and run a number of planning projects. They include greenfield rezonings, middle-ring subdivision work, high rise applications including via the Development Facilitation Program, Planning Panels, and planning scheme amendments – very diverse! Their clients are mainly private (landowners and developers).
The role’s main focus is technical delivery – providing planning advice and delivering outcomes for their clients. We are keen to speak with candidates with around 5-7+ years’ experience in Victoria, who are highly motivated and able to operate with limited supervision.
The office is in Melbourne CBD – very close to public transport (trains and trams) plus plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops. They operate on hybrid working with staff ideally coming to the office 3 days/week.
Salary negotiable but somewhere around $100k – $120k package.
