Migrate from Statutory to Strategic

Planned Resources Recruitment Melbourne

Great opportunity for a band 6/7 statutory planner looking to sidestep across into strategic planning without being forced to take a step back in either banding or pay.

With an initial focus around planning scheme amendments this role suits an applicant who can work quickly to meet deadlines and has a systematic approach to how they work.  They will have excellent communication skills that will allow them to liaise with internal stakeholders (both within the planning department as well as external to the planning department), state government as well as the local community.

Located in a busy regional centre located just over an hour outside of Melbourne this is a great opportunity for a planner whose original aspirations were to be a policy planner, but who has found themselves trapped in a statutory planning career role to date.
