Planning Candidates – South Australia


Senior / Principal Strategic project coordinator – SA based; open to FIFO work

An environmental and planning industry professional for the last 25 years. This strategically minded candidate is highly experienced in all matters that have to be considered with development proposals. They have worked on a range of projects in a strategic based role and worked in Coordinator / people leadership positions. The extent of their experience is so varied which is what makes them a more unique candidate. They are working for a state government organisation currently for policies for brown coal and coal protection and their contract is coming to a close in December.

They are open to contract positions or an ongoing role preferably in the public sector. Whilst they are based in SA; they are open to a FIFO working arrangement if the role is outside of SA.

 


Development Assessment Planner – SA 

After graduation in 2021 this planner moved to Tasmania to start their career as a Statutory Planning Officer in a local government organisation. They worked on a range of applications including: residential, commercial, industrial mixed use, multi dwellings in a greenfield zone and some infill.

They also had some exposure to strategic planning projects whilst working as part of a team where they got to be involved in policy writing and writing additional planning controls for better housing outcomes and planning schemes. After finishing in October 2023 to go travelling – they moved back to Adelaide to be closer to family. They are open to contract and permanent appointments in the public sector.

Salary: $84.5k + super | Available immediately

 


Design Consultant pivoting to Planning

Coming from an architecture background this candidate has worked in the private sectors in India and most recently in Adelaide. They are hoping to make a pivot into a planning position as they are intending to return to university to further upskill in Urban Planning. They are open to planning administration which would give them a great exposure to the planning industry while they complete further studies. This candidate is based in Adelaide and is hoping to secure something within the central region.

Salary: $65k + super | Notice period: 2 weeks
