Working within the Property and Development team who are responsible for the development of a $2B portfolio including the acquisition of new assets for current and future needs as well as the redevelopment of existing assets so that they are fit for purpose.
Working in a close-nit development team that has existing analyst and transactional skills, this role will focus on the delivering major improvement to the property portfolio. Skills will be utilised to problem solve unique property challenges on projects and transactions that are varied, complex and of course make an important impact on the community.
Specifically, you will be involved in the front-end development including feasibility analysis, stakeholder engagement, concept development and planning approvals, as well as negotiating leases, purchases, sales, and options.
Specific skillsets will include:
- Organised with a focus on deliverables.
- Commercially astute.
- Experienced in property transactions, corporate real estate, property development or property investment management.
- Able to work independently and within a supportive team environment.
- Degree educated in the built environment, a business discipline or law.
With a large portfolio there is a mix of assets and project sizes, you could work on projects that range from $100K through to $20M. Most projects have a community benefit so the role would suit a candidate interested in working within a social enterprise style company as opposed to a company purely focused on bottom line.
