Salary: $85,279 – $96,759
Opportunity to play a significant part in protecting and supporting agricultural land around Melbourne and improving planning controls for the Green Wedges. You will form part of a specialised team in state government, liaising with local councils and other significant stakeholders in the development of the planning response and planning changes for these important assets.
The Planner will be the “writer” in the team, and use their ability to translate policy into effective planning provisions, drawing from their expertise in planning, and will play a vital role in the implementation and overall success of the project.
To Be Successful candidate will:
- Understands the Victoria Planning Provisions and demonstrates an ability to apply controls to facilitate outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to project managers to identify risks and overcome obstacles.
- Quickly sums up complex options and be recommend a clear way forward.
- Hold relevant qualification in town/urban planning and have some experience working in either Statutory or Strategic Planning,
