Salary: $85,279 – $96,759
Opportunity to play a significant part in protecting and supporting agricultural land around Melbourne and improving planning controls for the Green Wedges. You will form part of a specialised team in state government, liaising with local councils and other significant stakeholders in the development of the planning response and planning changes for these important assets.
The Project Officer will provide critical support across the team and will play an important role in coordinating and supporting key consultation activities and working with the team to progress the project.
To Be Successful candidate will:
- Hold a relevant qualification in Planning, Environment, Social Sciences, Economics, Architecture or Landscape Design.
- Have well-developed planning and organising skills, together with experience at developing project plans where objectives are clearly defined, and project objectives are met by anticipating and managing potential and emerging issues.
- Possess sound conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to undertake research, identify strategic issues and to develop appropriate solutions.
- Encourage new and different approaches and solutions that will deliver benefits beyond client or stakeholder expectations.
