Working across the organisation, you will be a subject matter expert on all things land-use planning and be able to provide high level advice on statutory and strategic projects for this organisation.
You’ll ideally have a mix of both statutory and strategic projects gained through experience of working within the Victorian Planning system, and be able to apply your knowledge of priorities, policies and processes at all levels of government to inform project development and approval pathways.
You’ll be able to undertake and manage the preparation of statutory materials, environmental referrals, planning permit applications, planning scheme amendments and other approvals and engage and manage the relevant heritage, environmental experts required to help facilitate the projects.
You’ll have strong communication skills, which will enable you to give concise unambiguous advice around planning and environmental issues (including as they relate to project risk) to internal stakeholders as well as strong relationship and negotiation skills to help facilitate projects across broader state government, agencies and local councils.
