The Role – Planning Manager/Front End Development Specialist

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will work across multiple greenfield residential community projects. Requiring excellent project management skills, you will:
Appoint and manage consultants including planners, engineers, heritage, environmental etc. required to fulfil planning requirements and reach planning approval on projects
Liaise with land owners and other external stakeholders as required
Manage key risks during the planning phase, driving the outcome to make sure that approvals are reached in a timely fashion
Negotiating with council and authority providers for best project outcomes
Assist in developing project feasibilities
Assist with Due Diligence during the acquisition process

This is a permanent appointment with excellent progression prospects.

The Person

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Assistant Development Manager, or Development Manager with strong front end experience, particularly in the planning phase. You may also be working as a Planner in consultancy and be looking to make the transition to a developer.
Experience in large scale residential subdivisions is a distinct advantage.
Knowledge of the Victorian market essential.
Degree qualification essential in Planning, Property, Urban Design, Civil Engineering.
Personal attributes – collaborative, friendly, customer focused, self starter.

Salary  Up to $120k inc super, plus incentives.
