Management role with a regional council overseeing a team of 20+ staff, you will be responsible for running this regional councils’ regulatory services consisting of statutory planning, building, environmental health and local laws.
Whilst still embedded in planning, this is a great opportunity to broaden your portfolio and step into a management role where your focus is on people management and business processes as opposed to being relied upon as a technocrat planner.
It is likely that the successful candidate will come from a planning background (as the planning team make up the largest component of the team), although regulatory managers who have had experience of running the planning portfolio within their team would also be considered for this role.
The role would be ideal for a planning coordinator, who has ideally worked in an acting capacity to oversee broader regulatory services (such as building) on a temporary basis and be looking for the opportunity to take a permanent role that offers a broader portfolio and is a genuine “management” role.
Offering an attractive salary and supportive management. Applications close on July 19th. For more information or a confidential discussion please call Russell Locke at Planned Resources on (03) 8398 0854 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
