Originally formed in 2010 to provide the town planning sector with a quality recruitment service, our clients have consistently asked us to provide similar services into other areas of their business, or have referred us on to their clients, consultants or colleagues in allied professions to assist them.
Since our inception we have grown from our original planning desk to also supply Design, Government, Engineering, Property and Business Support.
Mutual Respect: We approach you as consultants, not traders. When dealing with both candidates and clients, we believe that our role is to listen, and provide you with suitable options that match your requirements/aspirations, whilst being confident enough in our relationship with you to interject with alternate solutions and our reasonings where required.
Intelligence: We understand our particular market and can differentiate between employers to candidates, as well as articulating why a particular candidate fits a specific company. We seek to continually improve our ability both in terms of what we know about the sector and how we recruit.
Maturity: At all times, we act in a considered manner that is appropriate to the situation, look to understand different points of view and are able to provide direct, honest feedback even when this may involve having a difficult conversation.
Meet Our Team
We take time to recruit people to our company who meet our values, have recruitment experience and can genuinely add value to a client or candidates experience. We seek people for our team who understand that longevity and success in recruitment is built upon forming long term industry partnerships.
We’re looking to grow and are always open to catching up for a coffee with experienced recruiters who feel they share our values and are looking for autonomy and the chance to develop.

Outside of work, Russell is a father of 2, (Sam and Sophie), enjoys watching football (the English version), and is a very poor golfer.
Beyond recruiting, Leo gets involved as a guest speaker/panel/presenter during events held by Planning Student Associations of Melbourne University, RMIT and other universities.
Outside of his busy work schedule, Leo enjoys CrossFit, reading fantasy books (and actually sticking with them to the end!) and walking/cycling along the Yarra on a sunny day.
Now, fast forward to present time, Bec is a specialist in Town Planning recruitment in both the public and private sectors along with colleague, Leo Liemesak. Fun fact, they both happen to share the same birthday!
Outside of work, Bec is an amateur Muay Thai fighter and enjoys trying to work off the numerous cakes / sweet treats she’s made throughout the week.
